My Simple Makeup Routine

My Simple Makeup Routine

I’m much more of a ‘no makeup look’ kind of girl. I like to keep it as if I didn’t really try. I want my skin to breathe, look dewy and effortless.

I do have to admit, I truly think the ‘no makeup look’ is much more work than doing the whole ‘Instagram makeup look’. You really have to take care of everything underneath those layers of products. Stick to a simple daily skin routine: cleanse, tone, and moisturize. Please don’t overdo it, you really don’t want your skin to rely on the products you’re using. Click here to view my full skincare routine to successfully achieve my natural makeup look.

Below are the products I use to achieve this look, most of which are clean and free of harsh chemicals, sulfates, and parabens. It also takes literally 5 minutes.

Prep:

I use Hydro Boost Hydrating Serum to moisturize my skin

If I'm going outdoors I use UV Essentiel SPF cream

For my brows:

I use Boy Brow in Black to groom them up and for days that I go for an extra look, I use precisely, my brow eyebrow pencil by Benefit

Under Eyes:

Un Cover-Up Concealer for my under eyes.

This product is extremely lightweight, creamy and doesn’t look cakey on your delicate under-eye skin. I’ve realized that using anything matte underneath them makes fine lines and texture more noticeable. It’s definitely a light coverage but goes with the natural look

If I have any blemishes on my face I’ll use the same concealer to hide those away too. I’m a shade 33 btw!

Cheeks:

Multi-Stick by Ilia in shade Dreamer. I can’t leave the house without blush. It really makes you look alive and just cuter.

Eyes:

I curl my lashes first

My current favorite mascara for a couple of months has been the Hydro Boost Plumping Waterproof Mascara in Brown for a natural look. It's a very creamy formula rather than liquidy and doesn't clump!

My go-to liner is the Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner by Bobbi Brown. I line my upper waterline and right on my lower lash line (outer corners only and not the waterline) as well as my inner eye corners, to give me a bigger doe-eyed look

Face:

Veil™ Translucent Setting Powder by Hourglass - my #1 favorite powder.

Futuredew by Glossier with my fingertips on the high points of my face. Ever since I started using this product, I’ve had a lot of compliments on my skin/makeup and I’m seriously in love with it.

Lips:

Generation G in Jam for perfect tinted lips.

For days that I'm feeling extra, Lip Injection Extreme Lip Plumper in Pink Punch for pouty pink lips!

That’s it! Super simple, easy and quick!

This is SO cute🤩✨
I’m the same as I don’t like heavy makeup so I try and keep it lighter.
1. I use a Nivea moisturiser
2. Sephora concealer
3. Kiko BB cream and I blend that with a beauty blender
4. Then ‘Bad Gal Bang’ mascara by Benefit and that’s it!
5. Oh and some Clarins lip gloss!
You should so make a video of this- we’d all love to see that!
