Fall always makes me want to make plans again. Nothing crazy, just little reasons to get dressed, leave the house, and spend time with someone you love before the season disappears.
I think the best fall days are the simple ones. A coffee, a long drive, something baking at home, or wandering around somewhere pretty when the air finally starts getting cold.
Go Somewhere for Apple Cider
• Find a cute little farm or market, get warm apple cider, and walk around with absolutely nowhere else to be.
Go Antiquing
• Spend an afternoon wandering through antique stores and little vintage shops. Even better if you both come home with something completely unnecessary.
Have an Old Movie Night
• Pick a cozy old movie, order your favorite food, light some candles, and stay in for the night.
Bake Something Together
• Apple pie, cinnamon cookies, pumpkin bread, anything that makes the entire house smell like fall.
Take a Long Fall Drive
• Make a playlist, grab coffees, and drive somewhere pretty just to see the leaves and talk.
You don’t need a packed calendar to make fall feel special. Make a few little plans, take too many pictures, and enjoy having somewhere to be with someone you love.
