To be honest with you there’s no miracle way to banish dark circles and puffy eyes completely. It’s all up to genetics and how we treat ourselves as well. It’s extremely hard to get a full 8 hours of sleep every night. As we age, the skin around our eyes starts to become thin and prone to wrinkles and creasing but we have a lot of ways to brighten and blur out our under eyes thanks to concealer and color correcting products.
If you’re looking for something that will help you a little bit more long term and really brighten and depuff you under eyes, check out my selections below. (I am currently using the Collagen Pixi product only, but I've researched all of the rest to pick my favorites.)
Best brightening eye mask: Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery Eye Mask - This mask is seriously powerful and extremely helpful at brightening. It really makes your under eyes look youthful and instantly refreshed. This mask also comes dry and you have to break the seal, ensuring the ingredients stay fresh. You can also put the serum anywhere else you need that extra brightening.
Eye mask to splurge on: Knesko Rose Quartz Antioxidant Eye Mask - This mask uses a unique technology that blends the special properties of precious minerals and gemstones. All the products are then charged with loving, healing Reiki energy promoting a state of total relaxation and well-being. It’s very calming, protecting and hydrating. It also contains Vitamin C and licorice extract to help combat discoloration.
Best hydrating eye mask: Hydra-Essentiel Moisturizing Reviving Eye Mask - This one is a great choice to use in the AM because it contains quinoa extract, which works to protect skin from environmental aggressors. Use it while you’re having breakfast or blow-drying your hair and your under eyes will look as if you instantly drank 10 cups of water.
Paula’s Choice Omega+ Complex Eye Cream: This cloud-like cream naturally restores dehydrated skin and is packed with niacinamide, mulberry, bearberry, and licorice, all of which help reduce the look of dark circles and includes moisturizing fatty acids and ceramide to really hydrate.
Dr. Brandt Needles No More No More Baggage: No injectables necessary with this one. An instant (yet temporary) way to take your under-eyes go from dark and puffy to glowy and refreshed in minutes.
Saturday Skin Wide Awake Brightening Eye Cream: Adorable packaging! This one hydrates the delicate under-eye area with hyaluronic acid, peptides, and avocado protein extract. It also includes brightening ingredients, like date seed extract, which means less concealer over time.
In my opinion, if you’re not really stressing about your eyes and want a little boost and try any eye product, choose these two to start.
Collagen Eye Serum It’s lightweight and quick-absorbing, this rich serum gives you younger-looking skin. Acacia Collagen plumps & boosts elasticity. Hyaluronic Acid firms & hydrates. Adenosine soothes & smoothes.
+C Vit UnderEye Brightener - Added illuminating pigments and Licorice energize the eye, soothes, erases dullness, and brightens. Vitamin C brightens. Ferulic Acid provides an Antioxidant boost. Caffeine depuffs & energizes.
Also, check out Pixi’s eye masks!
You could also use tools on your face, I hear that De-Puffing Jade Facial Roller is seriously good for depuffing! Put it in the fridge and use it every morning and look extremely refreshed.
