We all need a gentle reminder to take care of ourselves sometimes. Whether it’s reading a book, doing a face mask, or catching up with old friends - it’s crucial that we allow ourselves to relax and feel at peace. We listed some simple ways to practice self-care.
- Take a relaxing bath (add some Epsom salts with your favorite scent!)
- Wake up a little earlier to make breakfast
- Do something sweet for someone else (compliment a stranger’s outfit, text a friend or loved one…)
- Take a mental health day
- Do a face mask or do a DIY spa day
- Give yourself a manicure or pedicure (or both!)
- Surround yourself with nature (take a nice bike ride somewhere and have a picnic!)
- Book a yoga class
- Pick up that book you’ve been meaning to read
- Turn off your phone/electronics for an hour
- Binge-watch your favorite show
- Write a love letter to someone you miss (not only will this make you feel good, but it’ll also be sure to brighten the day of whoever you’re sending it to)
- Go through old photos and memories you love
- Clean your living space
- Organize your phone, remove apps/cancel subscriptions you no longer use
- Open up the windows and blinds
- Go to your favorite coffee shop

omg, i love all of these ideas! doing a face mask to relax at the end of the day is my favorite, but i definitely want to try out some of these other points! (i love the letter writing idea! so cute)
i always feel better after doing my own little spa day! also meditating, lighting candles and re organizing my room a bit makes me feel more at peace 🖤
